The Maiden pieces explore the woman's earthly body's first stage after childhood, adolescence and the time before motherhood. The textile is smaller and more revealing than the older pieces but also tighter on the body. The piece explores the behaviours of constriction and exposure, by restricting the arms close to the body or above the head and exposing the body in between the separate textiles. The textile is thin with transparent sections.
